Dewa Athena IX

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog, in this post I will tell you about my first (and last :”<) time Dewa Athena. May be you were wonder “What is Dewa Athena?” Dewa Athena is the acronym of “olimpiaDE sisWA, Ajang tunjuk kebolehan, eksisTEnsi, dan kebersamaAN siswa” or in English “Arena to show Ability, Existence, and Student’s Togetherness Olympiad”
Sports that were contested at Dewa Athena are soccer, tarik tambang (pull the rope) , gobak sodor, dodgeball, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and relay race.

gobak sodor

First day (Saturday, 25th March 2017)
The following are list of my class’s result on the first day of Dewa Athena
Boys  soccer, vs 10-10 WIN
Girls soccer, vs 10-6 LOSE
In the first round I was a back, and in the second round I was a goalkeeper. Although my class was lose in this game, I really enjoyed the game :D
Tarik tambang, vs 10-2 WIN
My friend called our class strategy in this game “Tembok Besar China” because Kenny act as resistor.

"Tembok Besar China" formation.
Gobak sodor, vs 10-4 LOSE
In this game, there are two team, defence and offence. Defence team should keep offence team can’t pass the line. Offence team should try to pass the line without getting touch with defence team. When i was in offence team, i try to pass the line, but unfortunately i fall to the groud:(
Boys badminton , vs 10-8 WIN, vs 10-5 WIN
Ernest and Ziyad were playing in this game.
Basketball vs 10-6 LOSE
Relay race vs 10-9 WIN
In my opinion, victory of this game depend on the first runner. Have a good luck, my class’s first runner (Dio) was so fast XD

Second day (Saturday, 1st April 2017)
The following are list of my class’s result on the second day of Dewa Athena
Boys  soccer, vs 10-3 WIN, vs 10-6 LOSE
Tarik tambang, vs 10-4 LOSE
My class can’t use the “Tembok Besar Cina” strategy again:( It was because Kenny can’t participate in this game because he must attend his religion class.
Boys badminton vs 10-2 LOSE
Relay race vs 10-7 LOSE
The first runner, Dio, also must attend his religion class.
Boys dodgeball vs 10-9 LOSE
Girls dodgeball, vs 10-10 WIN, vs 10-social LOSE
I really enjoyed this game XD but…. I got an injury when I was avoid from the ball. So I can’t play as good as the first game (against 10-10).
Girls badminton, vs 10-social WIN, vs 10-9 WIN

This game is the only game that my class have a chance to win it.

Movie Review : Sherlock : The Final Problem

"The Final Problem" is the third episode of the fourth series of the British television series Sherlock and the thirteenth episode overall. The episode was first broadcast on BBC One, PBS, Channel One on 15 January 2017.

Cast
Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes
Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson
Mark Gatiss as Mycroft Holmes
Una Stubbs as Mrs. Hudson
Rupert Graves as DI Lestrade
Louise Brealey as Molly Hooper
Amanda Abbington as Mary Watson

Plot
A girl wakes up on an aeroplane and finds everybody asleep. She picks a mobile phone up and hears Jim Moriarty announce "Welcome to the Final Problem".
Mycroft Holmes is at home watching a vintage film, which stops with the words "I'M BACK", when a clown with a sword intrudes. Mycroft tries to escape, but Sherlock appears and reveals that he and John Watson staged the attack to prove that his sister, Eurus, exists.
On Baker Street, Mycroft reveals that their parents sent Eurus to a mental institution after she burned their home down. An adult Mycroft then sent her to a maximum-security facility, Sherrinford. He dismisses the idea that she has escaped, but on the next day at Baker Street, when they were discussing Eurus, a quadcopter carrying an explosive flies into the flat. John, Sherlock, and Mycroft are forced to flee as the bomb detonates.
Later, John and Sherlock hijack a boat to travel to Sherrinford and carry a diversion plan out so that Sherlock can reach Eurus' cell. Mycroft and John corner the prison governor, discovering that Eurus has taken control of the prison by influencing anyone with whom she speaks. Meanwhile, Sherlock talks to Eurus, but she attacks him and knocks him unconscious. The guards lock Sherlock, John, Mycroft, and the governor together in a cell.
Mycroft reveals that five years ago, he granted Eurus five unsupervised minutes with Moriarty as a Christmas present. In the present day, Eurus leads the captives in a series of psychological ordeals, forcing Sherlock into sinister games to save lives while videos of Moriarty taunt him. Although Eurus prods Sherlock onward with the prospect of saving the girl on the aeroplane, he eventually stops the games by threatening to shoot himself when she orders him to shoot either John or Mycroft. Frustrated, Eurus uses tranquilliser darts on the three of them.
Sherlock wakes up near his family's old house. He speaks to the girl in the aeroplane to try to guide her in landing safely. John wakes up at the bottom of a well. When he finds human bones there, Sherlock realizes that what he thought was his dog Redbeard was in fact his best friend, Victor Trevor. Eurus threw him into the same well and left him for dead because she felt left out of Sherlock's attention as a child. Sherlock then deciphers the real meaning of the song that Eurus originally taunted him with when Redbeard went missing, which reveals that she wants him to find her. Sherlock discovers that the girl in the plane is actually Eurus's mental metaphor and that the game has been a cry for help. With Eurus' puzzle solved, Sherlock is able to send her back to Sherrinford after rescuing John.
Mycroft explains to his and Sherlock's parents, who had been told by Mycroft that Eurus was dead, that Eurus refuses to speak to people anymore, but Sherlock visits her and they play violin together, giving performances for their parents and Mycroft. While helping Sherlock repair his destroyed flat, John receives a video sent by Mary before she died, encouraging him to continue having adventures with Sherlock.

Review
This is Sherlock series’s final episode, so i suggest you to watch the previously episodes of Sherlock BBC.
With his excellent trick, Sherlock was success to prove that he has a younger sister that was hide by Mycroft. Sherlock, Watson, and Mycroft must solve the puzzle that given by Eurus. The puzzle was so difficult, even Sherlock (that imagine was so genius by the author) was frustation to solve the puzzle.
In this episode, the writer shows the Sherlock's "humanity". Take a look to the picture below.

In this scene Sherlock was so panic knowing John was in the bottom of a well. In pict (2) Sherlock hug his sister. We can see Sherlock's parents in this episode. They came to Sherrinford, after Mycroft explain about Eurus case.

This movie will be a nice closing of Sherlock BBC series (otherwise there will be season 5). All of the mystery was cleared in this episode, like "are there just two holmes in this world?" or "who is the parents of the genius Sherlock?" even "the last Mary watson's message" were answered. But, at the end of the episode we is being curios with the scene where Sherloxk receive SMS from a woman that being fathomed as Irene Adler.

So, is there will be Sherlock season 5? If yes, will this season explain the continuance about Sherlock love story with Irene Adler (the one and only woman admire by Sherlock!).

This movie is fit for you who likes detective or mystery. If you watch this movie, you must adapt with Sherlock's fast speaking style when he explain his deduction, also this will train your thinking speed XD. Happy watching~

How I spend my holiday?

After a tense exam, I have a 2 weeks holiday. In this post I will tell you how i spend my holiday. First week i just stayed at home. I read an olympiad astronomy book and make some resume of it. Futhermore, i learn some chapter of mathematics, biology, physics, and chemistry. I also complete some question about the chapter i just learn.

Previously, on 5th january I will go to the Tidung island with my aunt, my uncle, and my cousin. Unfortunately there is an accident on 1st January, a boat that brought some tourist to Tidung Island was be caught on fire! 23 peoples were die. The cause of this accident is an explotion of the boat machine.

My aunt afraid of that accident, so, she cancel the trip. As a replacement we plans to go to Sukabumi. We leave at 9 a.m. In the trip, i and my cousin just sleep :v (because in holiday, our sleep time is disturbed:"v). We just wake up when we will do some rest and eat. We arrive at Sukabumi at 5 p.m. It was an exhausting trip ever. Why? Because i usually use train when i go to the far place.

So get there, we look for some lodging around the south beach. After change our clothes, we go to the beach. The view was so good, we spend our time while waiting the sunset. The next day we go to the fish market, and bought some “pindang”.

On the way home, there was  a traffic, so we arrived at 9 p.m. I was so tired and sleepy. So that is all, thank you for read my story. I’m sorry for my bad English. See ya~

Abu Bakr : Person Who Inspired Me

Hi everyone! Long time no see ya HE HE.. In this post I will tell you about person who inspired me. Who is he? He is Abu Bakr Assidiq one of the Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam)'s companions. He inspired me because his kind-hearted, generous and noble personality. Abu Bakr's love of the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam was so great that he was willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of protecting and comforting the Prophet saw. Abu Bakr's faith was too strong to be shaken by anything, so the Prophet (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam) gave title as-Siddiq to Abu Bakr. For more information you can read Abu Bakr's biography below.
Abu Bakr (radhi-Allahu anh) was one of the first few people to accept Islam at the invitation of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam). It was perhaps due to this good nature that led Abu Bakr—by the mercy and blessing of Allah, of course—to become one of the first believers of the message of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam), and to spend the rest of his life in service to Islam.
Abu Bakr helped Islam in its early days by preaching the message to his friends and associates, as a result, many people embraced Islam on his invitation. He also helped the progression of Islam by purchasing and freeing many Muslim slaves that were tortured by their Non-Muslim masters for believing in Islam. He served his religion by accompanying the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam) on the dangerous journey of hijrah (migration) to Madinah. This was done at a time when the disbelievers of Makkah had announced a price on both of their heads. Either of them—the Prophet (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam) or Abu Bakr—could easily have been killed in this journey, if not for Allah’s protection.
Once in the city of Madinah, Abu Bakr continued to serve Islam by providing the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam) with sound advice, by spending his wealth in Allah’s cause, and by accompanying the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam) on many dangerous battles. The battle of Badr was the very first major battle in which he stood guard right alongside the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam).
After the death of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam), Abu Bakr continued to serve the Muslim Ummah as their Khaleefah, or the leader. It was he who started the spread of the Islamic empire to the farthest corners of the world, while also maintaining the superiority of Islam. He fought against the many rebellions from within, such as the tribes that refused to pay the obligatory Zakaah, the false prophets and the apostates (people who left Islam after declaring faith). Moreover, he had the Holy Qur’an compiled for the first time into an official copy, under the supervision of Zaid ibn Thaabit (radhi-Allahu anh) in order to prevent it from being changed and lost like the other previously changed holy books. And after a life full of faithfulness, generosity, service and leadership, Allah recalled Abu Bakr’s soul to Allah's boundless mercy. Abu Bakr had the honor of being buried right next to the blessed grave of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam).

Raja Ampat : THE RICHEST CORAL REEF ON EARTH & INDONESIA’S TOP LIVEABOARD DIVING DESTINATION

Where is Raja Ampat?

The Raja Ampat archipelago, part of the Coral Triangle, located at the northwest corner of Indonesia’s West Papua province, encompassing 40,000 km² of land and sea and including a series of more than 1,500 islands which surround the main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo.

Located at the intersection of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, Raja Ampat has been described as a ‘species factory’.

Powerful deep-sea currents funnel nutrients into Raja Ampat’s delicate fringing coral reefs, blue water drop-offs, mangrove flats, and seagrass beds to form the foundation of the food chain which feeds a spectacular diversity of marine life.

Discovering Raja Ampat: Experiencing the Coral Triangle’s ‘Species Factory’

With the discovery of Raja Ampat’s biodiversity still in progress, WWF has teamed up with the Indonesian government, local community groups, and conservation partners such as Conservation International (CI) and The Nature Conservancy to create the Bird’s Head Seascape.

Encompassing an area of 183,000 km², the Bird’s Head Seascape also includes 7 marine protected areas within Raja Ampat totaling 9,100 km².

Scientists have discovered that many coral species within Raja Ampat may be more resistant to rising ocean temperatures due to global warming, providing hope that the marine protected area might help replenish other nearby coral reefs which have been severely damaged by coral bleaching events.

Raja Ampat threats

Raja Ampat’s relative isolation has been one of the marine protected area’s greatest defenses against overuse and exploitation.

However, as more coastal environments lying closer to human population centers become degraded, relatively pristine coral reefs such as Raja Ampat are becoming increasingly tempting targets.

Local subsistence fishermen have used dynamite blast fishing methods in the past, and some fragile ecosystems have been threatened by logging, mining, and oil exploration.

Raja Ampat Biodiversity

  1. More than 1,300 species of coral reef fish
  2. Five species of rare and endangered sea turtles including the hawksbill sea turtle
  3. 600 species of hard coral within the Bird’s Head Seascape—75% of the total for the entire world
  4. 13 marine mammal species including the dugong
  5. 700 species of mollusk—including 7 giant clam species
  6. 57 species of mantis shrimp within the Bird’s Head Seascape

Amazing Animals : Black Widow Spider

Black widows are notorious spiders identified by the colored, hourglass-shaped mark on their abdomens. Several species answer to the name, and they are found in temperate regions around the world.

Black widows are found in temperate regions throughout the world, including the United States, southern Europe and Asia, Australia, Africa, and much of South America. In the United States, they exist primarily in the South and West. They may be found in dark, dry shelters such as "barns, garages, basements, outdoor toilets, hollow stumps, rodent holes, trash, brush and dense vegetation, according to NCSU.

Like many spiders, the black widow spider eats other arachnids and insects that get caught in their webs. The female spider hangs upside down from her web as she waits for her prey. This pose show off her bright markings, which, according to a report published by The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology, are a visible warning to potential predators that she is toxic. The markings, however, do not appear to frighten off prey. That is likely due to differences in how birds and insects perceive color, according to the report's author.

Black widows eat flies, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, beetles and caterpillars, according to National Geographic. After the prey is ensnared in the web, the black widow uses its "comb feet" to wrap the prey in silk. Then, the black widow punctures its prey with its fangs and injects digestive enzymes that liquefy the corpse. The spider then sucks up the fluid.According to Canadian Geographic, black widows are primarily solitary, with the exception of late spring when mating occurs.Female spiders can live up to three years. Males typically live for one or two months.

According to Sewlal, black widows get their name because "females [carry] out sexual cannibalism after mating." The female often kills and eats the male, which explains the males' short lifespans. Sewlal said that scientists theorize the practice occurs "so that the females would get a ready source of protein, which would be beneficial to the offspring now developing inside her. However," she continued, "this is mostly observed in laboratory conditions so that males cannot escape."

The female creates papery egg sacs that contain between 200 and 900 eggs each, according to NCSU. The eggs hatch after about 30 days. The baby spiders are cannibalistic and few survive the three-month development to adulthood.

According to National Geographic, black widows are considered the most venomous spider in North America. Their venom is reported to be 15 times stronger than a rattlesnake's, according to NCSU.

Black widows are highly poisonous; fortunately, they bite humans only when disturbed. Sewlal added, "Only the bites of the females can be regarded as a threat to human health." And contrary to popular belief, most victims do not suffer serious damage. "Bites from this spider very rarely result in death," Sewlal said. "However, individuals at risk include the very young, very old and sick."

The black widow's bite feels like a pinprick to most people, according to NCSU. Pain begins within a few minutes and spreads rapidly to other parts of the body.

"The effects of a bite by a member of this genus depend on the species, but effects can include nausea, profuse sweating, severe pain in abdomen and back, muscle aches, hypertension and paralysis of the diaphragm, which can cause difficulty in breathing," Sewlal said.

Pain may last for eight to 12 hours and the other symptoms may continue for several days, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Black widow antivenom is available to help minimize damage.
